Jiao Zi (boiled dumplings)

Small parcels of minced meat or vegetables spiced with sesame oil, ginger and Soya sauce wrapped in a wheat flour pastry case. Jiao zi are served with the ingredients for you to mix your own dumpling sauce: light Soya sauce, vinegar, chilli oil and garlic. The traditional Chinese sauce is light Soya sauce with just a dash of vinegar.

Guo Tie (fried dumplings)

Slightly larger than jiao zi (boiled dumplings), pan-fried and served in the same way.
